His Father Rabbi Abraham Goldberger was originally from Hungary, came to the US in 1891 and became Rabbi of Congregation Ahavath Jeshurun, New York. He passed away 1929 at the age of 90.
His son Rabbi Yehuda (Leo) was Rabbi Congregation Chevra Bechurin Anshe Ungarn, New York, other sons were also rabbis.
